Summer Programs: Jr. Counselors

13-15 years old

 

Session 1 and 2 are FULL
 

We have established a new addition to our Adventure Camp Program. Do you like all of the activities associated with day camp and yet feel too old for some of it? Are you interested in someday being a camp counselor yourself? Well this program is for you! As a Jr. Counselor you may choose an enrichment program to assist the teacher and enjoy the activities. Then, in the afternoons, you will be assigned to work with the Preschoolers, Jr. Adventurers or the Adventurers. This program promises to be a terrific experience for those interested in working with children and developing the skills necessary to be a future counselor.

Sample Schedule for Jr. Counselors

8:00 Arrival at camp, check-in Jr. Adventurers
8:30 Morning Meeting with Group Leader
9:00 Assist with Baking and Candy Making- yumm!
11:30 Playground fun with Jr. Adventurers
12:00 Lunch outside, help Jr.’s
12:30 Lead capture-the-flag with Jr. Adventurers
1:00 Swimming!
3:00 Snack then help Jr.’s pack up
3:30 Home
